Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was cozy enough, the breakfast room was quite, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfectly fine. The hotel's great location was convenient for exploring Monterey. The only downside was a pretty gross sight in the bathroom window seal.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location was great, close to the Main Street for easy access to transportation and delicious food. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and well-maintained, though I wish they had air conditioning. The service was top-notch, with gracious staff even coming to assist late at night. The dining experience was okay, but could use more variety. Overall, the hotel stands out on motel row and offers a great experience.
The hotel was a bit pricey for what you get but had available parking at the end, offering only minimum 'creature comforts'. The service was new, so I couldn't give advice on its distance from the conference site; The location is good for walking to tourist attractions and is nice, close to the city center if traveling by car. The dining experience offered a continental breakfast, making the hotel extremely good value with buttery croissants.
The hotel is ideally located on Munrus Avenue, close to Fisherman's Wharf and 'downtown', with beautifully landscaped grounds and convenient access to shopping. The rooms, newly decorated with some taste, are just right for two people but lacked cleanliness at times. The service was welcoming and efficient, though some repairs were done without warning. The dining experience offered a variety but could use more protein options. Overall, a good value for money stay with nice facilities.
The hotel is conveniently located near a mall and plenty of restaurants, offering clean and reasonably comfortable rooms that are easy to access for reaching downtown Monterey. However, it would be great if the rooms were equipped with a coffee maker and a table suitable for four adults.
Staying in a highly recommended room with limited space due to traveling a long distance was convenient despite the bench seating for five people. The hotel offers a quaint hometown village feel with kind service that was accommodating even during difficult times. The location suits walkers and those wanting to explore downtown Alvarado street; however, it is not within walking distance of the seafront.
